RUSTIC RENDEZVOUS A HUGE SUCCESS

Dear Saint John’s School Families,
Could our Saint John’s Parish/School Galas get any better?  Unanimously, the response was, “This years’ was truly the very best ever”.
God saw that it was good and blessed us with the most beautiful evening.  For those of you who were unable to attend yet contributed to the success, and for those who did attend, thank you.  It indeed was our biggest social event and fundraiser.
The venue was extraordinaire.  Gathering in a barn, shopping for the amazing auction items while enjoying special hors d’oeuvres and cocktails was only the beginning of the delightful evening.  Many smiles, compliments and “chuckles” were exchanged as friends greeted and admired one another wearing their best western wear.
Silent Auction Mobile Bidding for the first time!  Did you get the item, basket or package that you wanted?  Really, if you were outbid, you could be notified via text message?
Thank you, Father Sam for being our master of ceremonies and leading us in prayer prior to enjoying a delicious dinner.  The Country Music Project  provided live music for us to enjoy and made it truly an authentic, western occasion, with later line dancing and all.
Soon it was time to present the annual Saint John’s Eagle Award.  Cheers sounded as our very own Roberto Lopez was called to be recognized.  “Congratulations” Roberto.  We all appreciate you.
What could be more western than to hear the voice of the auctioneer, Kurt Campbell, who caused the live auction to bring in serious, and generous $’s for our parish and school.
Lexy Donnelly and the Gala Committee “hats off” for the fabulous event you made happen for Saint John the Evangelist Parish and School.  To each of you sponsors of our Gala,  your philanthropic, generous gifts are making a difference to our children and parish.  THANK YOU.
Shalom,

Mrs. Schmitt
